The Dane Foundation is very proud of it's service in our community. In a very short time we have helped more than 200 families, individuals with disabilities, single mothers and their children, and senior citizens.
As we enter 2009, we hope that you will keep your hearts, extra time, and donations coming to The Dane Foundation....we will need your help again to keep serving the community!
The assistance we have offered has included provision of personal items that enhanced quality of life. From play pens, to learning toys, clothing, furnishings, adaptive toys, school supplies, household supplies like cleaning tools and products, bedding, and towels. We also provided very personal items like clothing, shampoo, toilet paper, and other hygiene items.
Provide For The Gift-ing Tree All Year Long... Each year we receive standard requests for bath towels, kitchen towels, bedding, blankets, comforters, socks, under-clothing, pjs, household cleaning and personal hygiene items. These items, in all colors, styles, and sizes are typical requests from all ages and groups we support. If you would like to donate these items throughout the year, please call us...we will keep them on hand to fulfill requests that arise during the year and to fill those large wish lists we receive at the holidays.
Thanksgiving dinners and food supplies are given as part of The Gift-ing Tree project
The Dane Foundation will provide your company or organization with a Gift-ing Tree or work with you on promoting a "virtual" Gift-ing Tree program throughout your company, family, or organization!
The Dane Foundation meets as many holiday requests as possiblel...thanks to YOUR supports!!
Understanding & Awareness Programs
The Dane Foundation is dedicated to providing understanding and awareness activities. Programs like Understanding U and the Ms. Wheelchair USA, offer a unique perspective to understanding differences in a non-threatening environment. The Dane Foundation promotes these types of awareness and understanding opportunities in various creative ways throughout the year. For more information on how you can get involved, book or participate in one of these programs, contact our office at Info@TheDaneFoundation.org
