The mission of The Dane Foundation is to address the unique needs of individuals with disabilities, single mothers & their children, and senior citizens.
How The Dane Foundation Makes A Difference...
The Dane Foundation has a unique mission coupled with a mandate to provide public awareness and understanding of individuals with disabilities, single mothers, and senior citizens. The Dane Foundation is pleased to offer unique supports to these three groups in our society. While these are very diverse groups, all have similar needs: personal, educational, and recreational. All hope for social understanding and acceptance.
Unlike many organizations, The Dane Foundation focuses on providing "things" that aren't typically provided by other support sources. "Things" like toilet paper, clothing, learning toys, playpens, cleaning and household items. These simple items offer daily comforts and enhance the world of those living challenged lives. The Dane Foundation does not provide cash supports, nor does the organization give gift cards, cash, or grants.
The Dane Foundation strives to reach out offering help, providing sources of encouragement, and paving avenues promoting understanding and acceptance. Through various programs, special events and activities. The Dane Foundation is a 501C3 organization, dedicated to meeting it's mission and mandates.
There are many ways you can get involved with The Dane Foundation. If you have a little time or a lot, a little money or none, there are always ways that you too can offer help, encouragement and understanding.
