The Dane Foundation has a unique mission coupled with a mandate to provide public awareness and understanding of individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. The Dane Foundation is pleased to offer unique supports to these groups in our society. While these are very diverse groups, all have similar needs: personal, educational, and recreational. All hope for social understanding and acceptance.
Unlike many organizations, The Dane Foundation focuses on providing "things" that aren't typically provided by other support sources. "Things" like toilet paper, clothing, learning toys, cleaning and household items. These simple items offer daily comforts and enhance the world of those living challenged lives.
The Dane Foundation does not provide cash supports, pay utility or mortgages, repair cars, nor does the organization give gift cards or grants.
The Dane Foundation strives to reach out offering help, providing sources of encouragement, and paving avenues promoting understanding and acceptance. Through various programs, special events and activities. The Dane Foundation is a 501C3 organization, dedicated to meeting it's mission and mandates.
