Volunteers provide an invaluable service to The Dane Foundation. TDF is an all-volunteer organization with administration provided by the corporate owners and co-founders. Volunteers are always needed to assist with office functons, sponsorship acquisition, fundraising, event production and implementation, donation inventory and preparation, client services, and special advisory areas from advocacy to event production.
The Dane Foundation is happy to work with all ages of volunteers! The Dane Foundation Youth Council is designed to recruit and supervisor young volunteers ages 10 to 18. Younger volunteers are welcome to help with certain tasks but must have parental supervision at all times. Student volunteers needing health or community service hours as part of a school requirement are also welcome to call The Dane Foundation to volunteer!
Corporate and church groups, community organizations, and school volunteers are also happily welcomed to The Dane Foundation. There are many special projects throughout the year like Ms. Wheelchair USA and Project Elf that can accomodate large groups of volunteers to provide help with projects or a specific part of an event or activity.
